A big “thank you” to all of my regular visitors, commenters and droppers. I am putting less emphasis on Entrecard dropping this month and more on commenting and participation. Thanks for your concern Marg. I have been very busy with work, family and the weather has been beautiful, so I have been working in my yard. Blogging has taken a back seat lately. I’m glad you find my blog interesting, I will try to keep it that way!

Thanks for the link – I’ve also started cutting back a bit on EC and have joined some great blog social sites like blog frog and C.C.W.A – to bad EC can’t get that type of atmosphere around here.

Well, actually, I haven’t cut back on EC, I still drop 300 a day. I have just decided not to focus so much on thanking the “top droppers” as most of the blogs I thank, never acknowledge or thank me for thanking them!
Instead, I decided to try thanking the top commenters, as they are REALLY participating in my blog.

Nicely done, and congrats to all. I’ve been trying to leave more comments as well, and though I try to drop daily, sometimes am just not able to. Or I drop from one blog and leave comments from another or something along those lines.
I wish I had a better way of keeping track of comments; have tried a widget but it didn’t seem accurate, do you have an idea that would work on my blogspot blogs?

Hi John, Well I just love leaving comments – however I tend to leave quite long ones …. so sorry folks my comments tend to be a little like conversations but then it’s difficult not to do them this way amongst friends.
Now this is going off track quite a bit but there has been an item in the news in Britain at the moment that I’ll take the opportunity of passing on. A lady, over here apparently had been suffering with shoulder, back and leg pains also feeling tired a good deal of the time. Her doctor was perplexed as she had allegedly felt like it for around 10 years. Apparently she had been using Factor 50 sunblock to try and remain safe in the sun. After tests she had been found to be suffering with Vitamin D shortage which had led to her contracting rickets (this is a bone disease often caused through poor nutrition – it often leads to bow legs especially in children.) Couldn’t help but share this as we are all told to slap on the sunscreen and not given advice or warnings about the consequences of using high factor ones all of the time!
Well – there I go again – a comment far too long but never mind!

I’m visiting from CMF Spikes. I’m not sure how different they are from Entrecard which I left a long time ago, maybe a year or more. Much less of a commitment but for me they rarely produce any comments.
My blog is Do Follow too, but I am plagued with spammy comments now, some of it absolute rubbish, some leave reasonably sensible responses. I’m not sure whether it’s worth it. CommentLuv rarely, if ever, picks up my latest post.

I get A LOT of spammy comments too. Askimet catches most and I delete the rest. There is a huge time commitment with that too!
