Hi Jacqueline, it depends on where in Arizona you were visiting. I didn’t see anything this large in Northern AZ, just south of Phoenix.

Can you believe that was over 10 years ago John? How time flies. They look like good kids, and just to think someday they will be taking care of you, lol. Kidding of course, you’ll end up in an old bloggers home with the rest of us, not being able to hold a conversation without a keyboard, depends and a bib. How ironic! My first trip to Arizona was for some software training for a week in 1996. It wasn’t exactly silicon valley, but close. Our instructor, in shorts and sandals, gave us the grand tour of Tucson. We took long lunches at the locals only restaurants, where he filled us in on all the cool things to do in the area. He would release us everyday around 3:00 (we started at 7:00) and the class would follow him out into the desert to watch the sunset. OR to Old Tucson Studios, where many of the great westerns and TV shows were filmed. OR to the Sonora Desert Museum, which is one of the coolest places on earth, BTW! Everyday was a different adventure! I was hooked! That’s how my family ended up on vacation there in 1999. We have returned twice since. I could go on and on…. Sounds like a post!
