It’s hard to believe it’s been 730 days, 185 posts and 2027 comments since I banged out my first post, Next Stop 25 lbs.
In celebration of my 2 year blogiversary, I have decided to give away 10,000 ec’s. I’m not going to run a contest per say, rather I am going to give out the ec’s to the best comments I receive over the next week or so. Or to the readers who have commented the most. Or to the commenter that makes me laugh, cry or just scratch my head.
So here’s the deal, leave a REAL, quality comment on ANY post you choose. I will return the favor and comment on your blog. If you amuse, impress, make me think, or just catch my eye, you may receive at least 250 ec and one lucky soul will get 5000 ec. I know, it’s not very formal, but that’s just the way it is…dig?
Oh…and please don’t bother to leave any spammy comments. If all you have to say is “nice blog!” I will delete your comment and ban your IP…just kidding, well kinda.

John, I can’t believe your two! I mean, you don’t look a day over, one-and-a-half. Seriously though, what have we known each other for now? Maybe Ten days? It seems like much longer than that though, in a good way. John, you have been a valuable asset, to this brandnewbie, blogosphere, dude. Not to mention the fact, that I feel like we’re old friends, and I know, your truly a really good guy.

Wow two years old. That is terrific. And the cake looks delicious. Blogging is like eating potato chips, you can’t read just one. Blogging is very addictive and our Mom loves it. Us animals are in charge of our blog and we just point Mom in the right direction. Congrats on making it this far. I think Mom missed our birthday. It has been a year for us. Few blogs make it 2 years, congratulations. When my blog hit 2 years old, I went back and deleted any posts that weren’t worth archiving. Any special cleanup or new changes made to the blog after all this time?

Nice to see you here Turnip and thanks. Actually, yes. My blog was demoted in October to PR2. I cleaned up some old, irrelevant posts, deleted dead links, updated some tags and extended my domain for 9 years. I’m not finished yet, but it must have done some good, as my PR3 was restored at the beginning of January.
On another note, I plan on getting back to basics this year, writing more serious content. I had a tough year personally in 2009 and found it hard to write the quality content I want to produce. I thought it better to write less frequently than to pump out crap. Hopefully life will permit me to get back to writing this year.

Wow, I’m in awe of you on your second birthday! My first birthday is coming up in March and I really can’t believe it is almost a year now. Time flies when you are living on bloggy crack. It is addictive and we ought to start holding meetings…..really…with donuts and coffee!
