No, this is a very real picture, shot by me, with my Olympus E-500 SLR with a 300x lens, from about 12 feet away. I have an entire shoot of 12 shots in a row. The only thing photo-chopped about it is the EZGreatLife watermark and it was saved at a fraction of its original resolution for the web.

Aw that’s so cute, but wouldn’t the cup do it some harm!

Hey, wait a minute…wait a minute, that squirrel looks mighty familiar. I think, I know that squirrel! Damn, if it don’t look like one of them, Florida squirrels. Yep, now I’m positive. Washington DC, sheeesh, no way!

Cool picture John! I hate when people litter, but at least this little squirrel put it to good use.

    Happy WW!

Great pic John but I agree shame that people litter. Someone threw their cigarette butt out the window today while I was on the freeway and it made me mad.

I think one of the hardest things for the animals in all this horrible cold weather that we have been having, is that they can’t find any water. So that little squirrel probably was very thirsty. I keep a dish in my yard just for the birds and squirrels to drink out of and make sure that it isn’t frozen. The water is for the cats outside too. Great picture and for once, I am glad someone littered if it meant that the squirrel could have a little drink.

Hey John, How come you don’t find many squirrels, in the South?
