Cheap gas

Never thought I would think $1.69 per gallon gas was cheap.

I have gotten so used to seeing 2s and 3s that I almost forgot about those days.

Oh how I long for those days…
If a gas station had gas for $1.69 today, the line would go for miles.

25 cents a gallon was a good price but the guy that had 24 cents a gallon across the street was the one that had the line ups during the GAS WARS back in the early seventies just before the ENERGY CRISIS which caused much worse line ups (at least where I was in Florida).

    Those were the days.

It is about 1 dollar more here now then that. $1.69 used to seem like a lot, now I would take that!

    Great pic. Happy WW!
