Blue Ridge Mountains

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were out of town this year, in the mountains. Actually, we were at the same cabins where I broke my arm last year. No broken bones this year though, thank goodness! We left Wednesday afternoon and returned on Sunday. We had a great time, but I am glad to be home.

Some of you may have noticed my Entrecard drops were off, late or I might have missed you altogether. I’m sorry! I tried to get to everyone. Really, I did. I originally thought that I would not have Internet service at the cabin. After arrival, I found out that the cabin office had a wireless connection. So, I decided to drive over to the office and get connected. After about an hour of trying to drop from the front seat of my truck, one of the owners came over and invited me into the office and gave me a desk to use. She said I was welcome to use it every morning. Cool! The only trouble was the connection was extremely slow. I mean dial up slow. So it took me 3-4 times as long to drop my sites. Oh well, I’m home now, business as usual. I will be back to visiting your blogs bright and early tomorrow morning. Good Night!

John

    Hi John.
Glad you had a safe & great time on your trip in the mountains for Thanksgiving. There is no place like home, always happy to be back home from trips as well. My family had a good Thanksgiving. I appreciate you taking the time to still visit my blog. I still use dial up service and it is slow. I hope to upgrade in the future. Wishing you a great week and take good care! :-)

Thanksgiving Day was amazing–turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes–all the goodies.

Stupidly, I decided to go wait in one of those black friday lines. 1 hour into it, people started to get really violent and shove people around. I figured the experience wasn’t worth it (never waited before) and just left. Insane!

The same with me – Thanksgiving day was great. I visited my parents and we had a holiday dinner. Everything was quite and calm. I really relaxed and got some strengths to live further.
