We didn’t have to travel all the way to Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest. No, this Oktoberfest celebration happens annually, here in Virginia Beach. It’s fun for the whole family. There are rides, games, tug-o-war, a corn hole competition, a petting zoo and live music. Not to mention the authentic German food and beer. Good times! And the proceeds go to benefit some great local charities. Here are some of the highlights of the 2009 Oktoberfest, in pictures.

we have several octoberfests,that are great to attend as well.one is in lake county that’s the close one to me. and there is a huge one held in our state capital Columbus Ohio.
