I love Washington, DC. When we were old enough as kids Dad decided to takes us there. We've been there a couple of times. While my young ones are a little young for DC, we like to visit the beach. Rent a Beach house and enjoy the area. Hawaii is great too, however we prefer the Big Island, and experiencing the culture. Regards, Matt Great post on vacationing as a family. I love Washington, DC. The only vacation we ever go on is our annual summer trip to eastern North Carolina (my husband grew up in Rocky Mount, NC). After we visit his Mom and family, we head to Atlantic Beach - which is a 2-1/2 hour trip from Rocky Mount. We have a blast of course. This is a great article. It makes me want to go on vacation!
