It’s that time of year again. Tax time! Yuck! Raise your hand if you hate doing your taxes! John *raises hand* =) I will spend tomorrow doing our taxes. I started getting everything together about a month ago, but stopped when I realized we are not getting any refund this year. So I haven’t exactly rushed to get it done! I usually have it planned fairly close, so we get a small refund. But not this year!
If you haven’t filled yet, good luck! I have listed some resources below that may be of interest. BTW, I am not an affiliate of Turbo Tax in any way, but I am very impressed with their customer support. I purchased the 2007 version back in January. I went to use it last month (on a Saturday) and found the CD was badly scratched and would not install. I called the toll free number, waited about 2 minutes, and then was greeted by a very pleasant, helpful woman. She arranged a download file for me and in 10 minutes I was up and running. No kidding! It was a very pleasant experience, so much so, that I may look into becoming an affiliate! That’s a product I could stand behind and give my recommendation of approval. Give it a try.
I’m not sure if I will have time to post my Sunday Recipe. If not, I will return with one to knock your socks off next weekend. See you soon!
Remember the IRS Tax Deadline is April 15th!

I came across your blog on Technorati. Nice site layout. I will stop by and read more soon.

It’s great that you found a software that works for you!
I’ve tried several and they just don’t seem to work as well. It was not the reporting end of it, I had problems syncing directly to my online accounts in order to do my day to day accounting.
Maybe I’ll look into Turbo Tax next time around.

Sharon – I’ve been using Turbo Tax for 7 years. I think it is easy to use and has a nice user interface. I would check it out!

Hi John, I hope you got your taxes done on time. Today is the day. Like they say there’s only two sure things in life death and taxes – lol. I actually got mine done back on Jan. 31st! My incentive was I totally needed the refund! If I had to pay I would procrastinate too! I actually have been using H&R Block CD for the past two years, which I’m sure is similar to Turbo Tax. And I found it to be fairly straightforward. Happy Tax Day!

Sue – Yes, I finally finished! Way to go on your January 31st finish! Good job! I have heard good things about H & R Block from others, as well. I have just used Turbo Tax for so long, it’s hard to change!
Take care and see you soon!
